Welbeck Avenue, Hove.

This was full house refurbishment with a hip-to-gable loft conversion and side and rear extensions.  We fitted underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and sanded the floorboards on the first floor.  The owners moved into the main part of the house and screened off the openings while the side extension was completed.  The fireplaces you see in the photos are not original.  There’s a company in Manchester who make reproduction fireplaces to colours of your choice.   The owner wanted the garden lawn more level. We thought 10 tonnes would do it – it took 20 tonnes!
