I had worked with the client on their previous home so I was delighted to be involved in this project.  The property needed a complete refurbishment but we also did the loft, with an amazing roof terrace and the side return.  The builders did an excellent job and finished on time.  There were a few annoyances - our private building control providers went out of business before our final inspection and so we and many others needed to go back to the local authority for approval!  We also had a problem when someone turned the underfloor heating on in the kitchen before the plastic covering were removed.  There were mouldy marks all over the lovely parquet! Fortunately it sanded off fairly easily.
