Carleton Road N7.

This project involved the conversion of a large Victorian villa to 5 self-contained flats,  1 x 3-bed, 2 x 2 bed, 2 x 1 bed. The project went smoothly enough.  A fair bit of asbestos needed to be removed prior to commencement which was expensive as always. The electricity provider needed to repair the incoming main where squatters had bypassed the electricity meter!  We also had a very junior building inspector who couldn’t accept anything without referring back to his boss which was extremely tiresome, but we got there in the end. The job finished on time and on budget and the developer sold 3 out of 5 flats on the first day so he was happy.
